Southbank Hotel Pooling Scheme

BCCHD is the Responsible Entity for the South Bank Hotel Room Rental Pooling Scheme ARSN 094 529 512 and holder of Australian Financial Services Licence number 264682.

The Pooling Scheme operations, as per the registered Pooled Rent Lease, provides a formula to calculate the rental payable in respect to each lot in the Scheme which includes applying the Pool percentage to the hotel scheme profit with adjustments set out in the formula and distribution to Members in accordance with the unit lot entitlement of each lot. Interim rents are paid monthly and an annual reconciliation occurs after the end of the financial year and audit.

The Scheme has in excess of 200 members and its operations are in accordance with its Constitution and supporting Compliance Plan which is overseen by an independent Compliance Committee.

BCCHD considers that it is important that it has a clear and transparent Complaints Policy should any member have a need to express a grievance.

Complaints Policy
In the first instance, the Member should give notice of any Complaint to BCCHD. This can be sent by email to office@bcchd.com.au

BCCHD will acknowledge receipt, in writing, of any Complaint from a Member within seven days of receipt.

BCCHD will consider and respond to the Member, in writing, within 21 days of receipt of the Complaint.

In its response BCCHD will provide the remedies available to the Member, if applicable, and advise further avenues for Complaint including contacting the Australian Financial Complaints Authority.
